Louise with Halimas Dancing Silhouette - Reserve Champion Mare at the 2012 Australian National Championships
I have been involved in horses all of my life and found the passion for Arabians at a very early age. They have, and always will be, the addiction in my life. Without them life would be a milestone trek everyday!
I have been lucky enough to have worked at some of the top Arabian studs and show yards in the UK (most recently, Forest Hill Arabians, Australia) and I offer my huge thanks to the people who gave me my first chance with their wonderful horses.
Why Arabian Touch? Well we all say we give the "personal touch," we give "that one-on-one touch". Well I feel that the heart of this philosophy is the 'Arabian' horse's touch - it is unique in every way, from the simple things to the serious competition, it is all about the Arabian and the way we communicate with him. Whilst showing, conditioning and even the day to day handling of these special horses, their need to be treated with kindness & thoughtfulness is of utmost importance as they thrive on respect and in turn, value us as their guardians & handlers.
I find that by using alternative treatments and therapies along with natural horsemanship I am able to get the best out of each horse by tailoring a routine to suit their own personal needs.
I feel very lucky to have been able to use my methods on some amazing horses and achieve amazing results and these results are not only aimed at the show ring - many are used in everyday handling to educate horse and handler to become a united partnership.
You will find me very dedicated to my client's horses and I am looking forward to showing throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and Australasia again during the 2012/13 show calendar.
Please feel free to email or telephone with any questions or queries - I am always happy to chat and hear about your wonderful experiences.
